We’re Hiring: Activities Co-Ordinator
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team at YMCA Ryedale in Malton, North Yorkshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced in working with young adults. Who will co-ordinate a structured program of Activities for our residents who reside in our supported housing project.
The role
As our Activities Co-Ordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering a structured program of activities
- To build positive relationships with residents, staff, key partners and external organisations.
- To manage resources effectively and work within agreed budgets
- Produce relevant management reports in a timely manner
- Providing a welcoming and professional service
- Working effectively as part of the wider team
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Well organised with excellent communication and listening skills
- Positive and encouraging, supporting individuals to build confidence, independence and social connections
- Enthusiastic and motivated, with a genuine ability to motivate participation
- A willing and supportive team member who is comfortable completing a variety of tasks when needed
- Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The details
Location: YMCA Ryedale, The Sidings, Riverside View, Norton, Malton, North Yorkshire
Hours: 25 hrs p/w. Monday – Thursday 3.00pm-8.00pm. Friday 11.00am-4.00pm
Salary: £16.05 p/h £20,865 pro rata/annum
Contract: Fixed term 1 year reviewed annually
