On Thursday 17th July we welcomed staff, residents, trustees, friends, colleagues and supporters to the launch of our newly refurbished Communal Lounge.
Visitors had the opportunity to speak with staff and residents about the important work we do here at Ryedale YMCA and the support we are able to offer. It was also an opportunity to showcase the murals and artwork completed by our trustees and residents,
The Communal Lounge is an integral part of our project – a safe space for residents and support staff to meet informally to have a chat and a game of pool or ping pong, or to join in with activities including music and art workshops and cooking.
